The Picture Gallery is a family run business and has been serving the wonderful people of Bedford since 1986. We opened our first shop in 1986 in the Boulevards near the Howard Centre before we moved to the Harpur Centre in 1996. In 2011 due to high rent and rates we moved out of the Harpur Centre to the High Street where we stayed for another 11 years. We have now moved premises again and we are now based within our framing factory premises at Units 14-15 Kingfisher Business Park, London Road, Bedford, where we continue to help customers with their printing, framing and passport requirements.
We are a friendly bunch and we all strive for the same goal - 100% customer satisfaction. We have lots of regular customers who have been coming to us for years, and we love meeting new customers who often become our regulars too.
We are well known in Bedford for professional passport photos and have invested in the latest technology to ensure we keep up to date with the passport office requirements. The main Post Office in Bedford always recommend our services as the go-to place for passport photos.
In 2018 we invested in 3 Fuji photo kiosks and 4 DX100 Fuji printers which enables us to offer an instant printing service to our customers to print their photos instantly from their mobile phones and other media. We enjoy helping customers print their photos and it’s all part of the service when you visit our store. Even the staff at Boot’s send customers to us as they don’t have time to show customers how to use their photo kiosks.
We also offer a complete bespoke picture framing and mount cutting service. Over the years we have framed thousands of items including a pair of David Beckham’s signed football boots, signed football shirts, medals, cricket bats, and even a dress. All our framing is done in-house at our factory by skilled craftsmen who take great pride in their work. We love helping customers with their framing requirements and it gives us great satisfaction when we see the completed job.
We also sell online and send out picture framing and printing orders across the UK and Europe and have thousands of Trustpilot reviews which are mainly 5 stars.
Although we have embraced the 21st century, we still believe in good old-fashioned customer service. We believe that this is what sets us apart from the multi-national stores - because we always go that extra mile to help our customers, because we care.
